Is non-alcoholic really 0% alcohol?
It depends on the product and category. Some non-alcoholic drinks are 0.0% ABV, while others (like dealcoholized wine) can contain trace amounts. The standard for "non-alcoholic" in Canada is anything under 0.5%. Product pages list the exact ABV so you can choose based on your own preference.
Can non-alcoholic drinks affect blood alcohol level?
No. The trace alcohol in a 0.5% ABV or lower product is processed by the body too quickly to impact blood alcohol level, or cause impairment.

In fact, the production process for non-alcoholic drinks often costs more than an alcoholic equivalent. Especially for de-alcoholized products like wine, which add an additional, complex step on top of the already rigorous production process.
Can I mix non-alcoholic spirits into regular cocktail recipes?
Yes. Most non-alcoholic spirits are designed to be used exactly like their alcoholic counterparts in your usual recipes.
