St. Agrestis was founded in Brooklyn's Greenpoint neighbourhood by brothers Louis and Matt Catizone alongside longtime friend Steven DeAngelo, drawing on a childhood steeped in Italian food, family, and amaro. Their award winning, non-alcoholic Phony Negroni is built from 30 hand-picked botanicals rather than alcohol-free versions of Campari, vermouth, and gin combined, and the lineup has grown to include Phony Mezcal, White, Espresso, and Limone Negronis alongside Amaro Falso, a zero-proof take on their celebrated Amaro made from the same 20 botanicals. Every recipe is developed, produced, and bottled in their Brooklyn distillery.
