Macabeo, with its origins in north eastern Spain, is renowned for its fresh acidity and citrus flavour. Complemented by the rich stone fruit notes of Chardonnay, the result is a crisp and classic Spanish sparkling wine with fresh citrus and apricot aromas, with a refreshing tingle of acidity on the finish.

Voyaging to every corner of the globe, Edenvale seeks out the very best wines, this premium alcohol removed wine contains less than 0.5% alcohol by volume well below the international standard for non-intoxicating and a level similar to that found in natural fruit juices.

Tart grape juice

Received this “free” as had spent enough on the other functionals. Usually find dealcoholised wine expensive tasting grape juice . However interested to see what the bubbly aspect of this wine would be - it was under rated. Not quite grape juice as wasn’t sweet but the hangover the next day (likely the chemicals/process used to take the alcohol away) took any joy of something “free”. Realization why these are given away after the fact

This is not why the wine is being given as a free gift. I’m sorry to hear about your experience but I have not heard of it being a common reaction.
One thing to keep in mind is that non-alcoholic wine still has sulphites and will give a headache or “hangover” if too much is consumed.
