HOW ITS MADE

The alcohol is removed via spinning cone technology at low temperature under vacuum. The initial phase is to first remove the flavour, set aside. Then the alcohol is removed and once done we can take the flavour back to the de- alcoholised wine. There is a significant volume loss during

processing, a portion of the alcohol water is then again put through the process to extract the water. And added back. This helps to fill out the palate and balance acidity. Normal winemaking practices are followed from here in preparation for bottling.

Pink &. White and Red All Over

On my adventure through the world of Alcohol free beverages I have to say that so far, when it comes to wine, Lautus is my fave. Not only for taste but also for price.
What you need to know about my wine preference is that I enjoy dry wine more than sweet. So…..
The Rose is refreshing, but a bit sweet. It was not my favorite out of the three which isn’t to say I didn’t enjoy it. I added more ice and it was great.
The White is hands down one of the best De-alcoholized white wines I have ever had. In fact, it will be my go to this summer. Nice smell, colour and mouth feel.

Now the Savy Red. WOW. I’m not a huge red wine drinker. I like a full bodied red and while this isn’t quite that, it is flavourful and has a nice mouth feel. It’s very refreshing cold too. Goes good with pasta and red sauce and a juicy burger.
The one thing about this wine that threw me off a bit is it’s a bit foamy after pouring. Not like beer and not like carbonation. This doesn’t change the taste nor does it taste carbonated. It just doesn’t pour and sit in the glass like a regular red wine. There was a bit of sediment in my glass at the end of one glass I had, but I’ve not noticed that again. All in all, I liked it so much, I picked up more and will definitely keep this on hand.

I have only had this wine in the cans as I am currently the only person who is AF and one is usually enough.

Thanks.
